On Monday, the tribunal was told communication data and data retrieved from phones recorded Ms Wandelt consistently asking Madeleine's mother for a DNA test over 2023 and 2024.

Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - when she was three years old during a trip in Portugal - is considered the most covered investigations and is still unsolved.

'I Do Not Need Money'

A separate recorded message, presented in court, captured Ms Wandelt stating: "I understand I'm heavy and plain like Madeleine had been, but I know what I feel."

While one recording of Ms Wandelt's one-way conversations with Mrs McCann's voicemail expressed: "Imagine there is a small chance that I am she? Then what? Wouldn't that be significant for you?"

"I am not seeking money, I have a life here in Poland, I simply desire to discover," the recording stated.

The tribunal was advised that through electronic messages, SMS messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt requested a biological test, sent youth pictures to her phone in a bid to demonstrate a similarity to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and claimed to have "flashbacks" from a childhood with the McCanns.

The investigator, an intelligence analyst with the police force who compiled the data, told the court there "showed no any responses" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore communicated with family friends of the McCanns, as per the call data.

On October 9th, 2024, Gerry McCann answered a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "a wrong number."

On that occasion Ms Wandelt left a message on Mrs McCann's recording saying "I will continue and I plan to establish my position."

The court learned Mrs Spragg struck up a relationship through digital means with Ms Wandelt before accompanying her on a trip to the McCanns' home in Leicestershire in December 2024.

Call logs showed Mrs Spragg had contacted using communication app to Mrs McCann to express the news outlets had characterized Ms Wandelt as "mentally unstable" but that she should be taken seriously in the months leading up to the appearance to that location, the county, in December 2024.

The court heard correspondence between the two accused, in that autumn, planning trying to obtain Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her bins or from cutlery at a eating establishment.

"We have to take action," the co-defendant informed Ms Wandelt.

On the occasion of the appearance to their residence, Mrs Spragg transmitted a communication which said: "We are sitting outside the McCanns' house with our vehicle dark like investigators. I had hoped to do this with another person I never thought I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."

The proceedings ongoing.
